Obituary of Mike Haynes

Memorial services for Mike Haynes, age 61 of Grayson, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Old Bethel Baptist Church in Clarks with Bro. Eddie Riley officiating. Friends and family may begin gathering at the church on Saturday at 1:00 PM. Mike was born June 20, 1953 to Shepp and Willian Haynes in Columbia, and he passed from this life August 4, 2014, from a brief illness, at Willis Knighton Medical Center in Bossier. He was preceded in death by his father: Shepp Haynes. Survivors include his wife of twenty seven and a half years: Barbara Gladen Haynes of Grayson; daughter: Kristy Jones and her husband Darnell of Morgan City; step-son: Erik Schultz and his wife Amy of Olla; step-daughter: Kim Sanders and her husband Alan of Urania; mother: Willian Haynes; three sisters: Liz Scroggins, Peggy Cupstead, and Helen Poole; six grandchildren: Ashley Sanders, Tyler Schultz, Kayla Jones, Austin Schultz, Amya Jones, and Emma Schultz; a host of nieces and nephews; and dedicated friend: Billy Franklin.
