Obituary of Sr. Rasberry

Funeral services for Huey P. Rasberry, Sr., 82, of Tullos, will be held 10 AM Wednesday June 8, 2011 at Tullos United Pentecostal Church with Bro. E.R. Johnson and Bro. Gary Mickey Parker officiating. Interment will follow at the Georgetown Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-9 PM at the church. Huey was born April 8, 1929 in Baskin to Robert and Mary Allen Rasberry and he passed from this life on June 5, 2011at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. He was a member of the Tullos United Pentecostal Church and he served his country in the Army. He was preceded in death by his parents; son: Huey Paul Rasberry, Jr.; four sisters and three brothers. He is survived by his wife: Connie Evans Rasberry of Tullos; son: Douglas Rasberry and his wife Shirley of Goldonna; four daughters: Donna Burris and James Goode of Ball; Julie Carpenter and her husband Jay of Boyce; Debra Rasberry of Tullos; Cynthia Malone of Montgomery; brother: Lando Rasberry and his wife Neeta Fay of Urania; twelve grandchildren; numerous great- grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; You may send online condolences to the Rasberry family at www.riserfuneralhomes.com.
