Obituary of Fran Tyler

Funeral services for Fran Vestal Tyler age 73 of Hebert will be held 10:30 am Wednesday August 20, 2014 from the sanctuary of Bethany Baptist Church with the Rev. Brian Rankin officiating. Interment will follow in the Bethany Cemetery under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. Visitation will be on Tuesday August 19, 2014 at the church from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Fran Vestal Tyler was born on June 30, 1941 at Columbia, LA to the union of her parents, Harvey Vestal and Dorothy Beatrice Wilson Vestal. She passed from this life on August 17, 2014 at the Citizens Medical Center in Columbia following an extended illness. Fran was preceded in death by her parents and by two daughters: Kim Tyler and Paula Tyler. She was an active member of Bethany Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memory, her husband: Mr. Marvin Tyler of Hebert; her son: Timmy Tyler and wife Wendy of Slick, Oklahoma, Dee Tyler of Columbia, and Hope Kenney and husband Spencer of Columbia; her beloved grandchildren: Shelby Tyler, Cole Tyler, Cassie Papke and husband Brendon, Michael Bellan and wife Breanna, Tyler Kenney, and Taylor Kenney; and her great-grandchildren: Madison Papke, Brenley Papke, and Lilah Papke. Pallbearers include Fred Book, Coty Clark, Joe Lane Tyler, Larry Lofton, Waymon Clark, and Adam Monk.
