Riser Funeral Home Olla, LA Obituary: Joyce Raines Woods Services for Mrs. Joyce Raines Woods, age 77 of Olla will be 2 PM Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at First Baptist Church of Olla with Bro. Johnny Phillips and Bro. Woody Rimes officiating. Interment will follow at Rosefield Cemetery in Rosefield. Visitation will be 9 AM until 12 PM at Riser Funeral Home in Olla. Mrs. Woods was born on June 23, 1931 in Union Springs, LA to the union of Addie Largent and Ennis Raines and passed away Sunday, October 19, 2008 at Hardtner Medical Center in Urania. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Olla and the Olla Garden Club. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband; Dana McCormick, two sisters; Doree Saunders and Edith Williams. Survivors include her husband of 20 years; Don Woods of Olla, son; Phil McCormick and his wife, Jackie of Houston, TX, two daughters; Jacquetta "Jo" Gamble and her husband, Hub of Wallis, TX and Barbara Self of Houston, TX, step-daughter; Donna Lewellyan and her husband, Raymond of West Monroe, brother; Douglas Raines and his wife, Johnnie of Mansfield, three sisters; Willow Steinmiller of Shreveport, Patsy Shadoin and her husband, Bernard of Converse and Alta Montgomery and her husband; Leo of Bedford, TX and five grandchildren; Dana Gamble and his wife, Nichole, Leslie Gamble, Tracy Wolfe and her husband, Ryan, Joshua McCormick and Michelle McCormick. Pallbearers are Glen Henderson, Devoid McDougald, Donnie Cupples, David Cummings, Raymond LeWellyan and Kenneth Woods. Honorary pallbearers are Dana Gamble, Hub Gamble, Leslie Gamble, Tracy Wolfe, Ryan Wolfe, Josh McCormick, Michelle McCormick and Glen Lewellyan.
