Obituary of William "Bill" Bridges

William "Bill" Bridges, 66, died November 18, 2014, with his family by his side in Farmerville, LA. A funeral service will be held Friday, November 21, 2014 at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia, LA. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. and the funeral will be immediately following at 11 a.m. William worked for General Motors in Monroe, LA. He enjoyed cars, hunting, fishing, archery, and spending time with family. He was a proud member of the United States Marine Corps. He is preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Bridges and his parents, Jesse and Lera Bridges. William is survived by his sisters and their spouses, Jeanette and Tom Johnson, Aundria and Edwin Price; his brother and spouse, Darrell and Karen Bridges; his two children and their spouses, J.W. and Maddie Bridges, and Jessica and Adam Thomason. He is also survived by his step-children and their spouses, Wesley Pace and Marsha, Julie Bolton and Jim, and Philip Pace and Connie. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Brandon, Zachary, Jacob, Elijah, and Asher; his step-grandchildren Rachel, Lauren, Jamie, John, Jason, Mandy, and Nick and 4 great-grandchildren. The pallbearers will be Bobby Taylor, Chuckie Terry, Westley Terry, Phillip Pace, J.D Farris, and Jamie Tedeton.
