Obituary of Marjorie Holland Hall
Funeral services for Mrs. Marjorie Holland Batson Hall, age 88 of Tullos, will be held at 1 PM Sunday, January 2, 2010 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Olla with Rev. E.L. Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Olla Cemetery in Olla. Visitation will be Saturday evening at the Olla funeral home from 5 PM to 8 PM. Mrs. Hall was born on March 6, 1922 in Grand Bayou, LA to the union of Thomas Edison Holland and Nina Rabb Holland and went to her Heavenly home on Friday, December 31, 2010 at Golden Age Nursing Center in Jena. She was a music teacher in her home and for Claiborne Elementary. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Tullos. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Rev. Ford Hall, son; Sidney Gerald Batson, two daughters: Grace Eileen Locke and Linda Joy Batson, brother; Tommy Holland and sister; Nena Maxey. Survivors include her son; David Willis Batson of Tullos, daughter; Nina Eugenia Rehbeger and husband, Joseph of Azle, TX, sister-in-law; Doris Holland of Baton Rouge, four grandchildren: Nina Gail Boyte, Cherry Fran Silvers-White, Deborah Stephenson and Billy Henry Boyte, Jr. and six great-grandchildren: Casey Boyte, Dustin Lee Stoker, Casandria Cole-Napier, Katherine Frances Silvers, David Thomas Silvers and Tracey Stephenson and eight great-great-grandchildren: Caiden Boyte, Isaiah Silvers, Alex Redmon, Crystal Benson, Connor Silvers, Alex Silvers, Eric Silvers and Baby girl Silvers.
