Obituary of Thomas Owen Butler

Funeral services for Thomas Owen Butler, age 77 of Clarks, will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 27, 2014 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery west of Columbia. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home. Thomas was born September 6, 1937 in Missouri to William Thomas and Pauline Gorman Butler and he passed from this life on December 22, 2014 a St. Francis Specialty Hospital in Monroe. He served his country in the Army for 4 years. He sold produce for 30 plus years and he built chain link fences in the Dallas area for 5 years. He was preceded in death by his wife: Suzy Butler; his parents; sister: Betty Ann Smith. He is survived by his sons: Owen and Robert Butler; daughters: Renee Butler Coleman and Jenny Butler; brother: Robert Butler; sister: Mary Paulette White.
