Obituary of Tommie Parker

Graveside services for Tommie Harding Parker, age 95, of Grayson, will be held at 4:00 PM Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Old Bethel Cemetery in Clarks with Pastor Dottie Smith officiating. There will be no visitation. Interment will follow at Old Bethel Cemetery. Tommie was born March 16, 1919 to H.R. And Narcissa Harding in Berclair, TX and she passed from this life on January 1, 2015 at Haven Nursing Center in Columbia. She was a member of Grayson United Methodist Church. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed reading, genealogy, Indian history, and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband: Willie E. Parker; daughter: JoAnne Pine; son: Jerry Parker; her parents; daughter-in-law: Ruby Parker; son-in-law: Joe Bill Pine; several brothers and sisters. She is survived by three grandchildren: Shannon Pine, Tobin Pine, and Mary Parker Howl; great-grandchildren: Summer Pine, Parker Howl, and Connor Howl. Pallbearers will be Shannon Pine, Tobin Pine, Brad Howl, Glen Belk, Buddy Gill, and Carl Hickman.
