Obituary of Jenny Alford

Graveside funeral services for Jenny Lee Alford age 54 of Hebert will be held 12:00 pm noon on Thursday January 8, 2015 at the Little Flock Cemetery near Many, LA with Rev. Terry Cole officiating. Services are under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. Jenny Lee Davis Alford was born on October 14, 1960 at Bedford, Indiana to the union of her parents, Gerva Gene Davis and Jenny Ernestine Reames Davis. She passed from this life on January 7, 2015 at her residence following an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her father. Jenny was loved by everyone who was a part of her life. She loved with all her heart and in return was loved as well. Jenny loved animals and always tried to help any animal in distress, whether it be a stray dog or cat, and she also was an avid lover of horses, and loved to ride. Those left to cherish her memory: her husband: Travis Reed Alford of Many, her mother: Ernestine Davis of Hebert, two sons: Randall Travis Alford and wife Tammi of Many and Gerva Reed Alford and wife Jennifer of Many; her daughter: Amanda Lee Alford of Many; her granddaughter: Bella Lee Alford of Many; her brothers and sisters: Gary Gene Davis of Lake Charles, Rhonda Cole of Mussel Shoals, Alabama, and Buddy Wayne "Rusty" Davis of Hebert.
