Obituary of Mary Ann Sootoo

Funeral services for Mary Ann Sootoo, age 67, of Urania, will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, January 15, 2015 At Urania First Baptist Church with Bro. Prather officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the church. Interment will follow at Urania Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. Mary was born November 11, 1947 in Paragould, AR to the union of her parents, Franklin and Bille Faye Leonard Contini and she passed from this life on January 10, 2015 at her residence in Urania. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Urania. She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter: Cheryl Frazer. Mary is survived by her husband: Henry Sootoo of Urania; one daughter: Contina Shoemake and her husband Mike of Livingston, TX; one brother: Bruce Gramling and his wife Olga of Minneapolis, MN; two sisters: Carolyn Stow of Piggot, AR; Debra Schleiff and her husband Mike of Pointblank, TX; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
