Obituary of William Knight

Funeral services for Mr. William "Bill" Knight, age 98 of Grayson will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2008 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack McKeithen officiating. Interment will follow in the Welcome Home Cemetery at Grayson. Mr. Knight was born on October 2, 1910 in Copiah County, MS to the union of Ernest S. and Lula Moody Knight and died Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at Citizens Medical Center in Columbia. . He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Jewel Roark Knight,his grandson:Mark Knight, his son-in-law: Sal Salvato, his brothers: Maxie Lee Knight and John Knight and his sisters: Ruby Puckett, Frances Freeman and Leola Reed. Survivors include: his son and daughter-in-law: Robert and Bobbye Knight, his daughter:Veronique Salvato, his grandchildren: Brian Knight, Wade Knight and Jessica Cook, his great-grandchildren: Matt Knight, Colton Knight, Justin Knight, Joey Knight, Trey Cook and Kendra Knight, hus great-great-grandchildren: Kennedy Stamper and Rayleigh Ray, his sister: Gladys Thornton and hus brother: James Knight. Pallbearers will be Dillon Welch, Greg Welch, Craig Roark, Kenneth, Wade Knight and Matt Knight. Honorary pallbearers are Trey Cook and Colton Knight.
