Obituary of Bonnie Marie White

Funeral services for Bonnie Marie White, age 75 of Urania, will be held at 1 PM Saturday, February 28, 2015 from the sanctuary of Oasis Full Gospel Church, Kelly, LA with Bro. Clay Hutto officiating and Pastor Betsy Honeycutt delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow at Little Star Cemetery, Kelly, LA. Visitation will be Friday, February 27, 2015 at Oasis Full Gospel Church, Kelly, LA from 5 PM to 8 PM. Marie was born on May 11, 1939 in Caldwell Parish, LA to the union of Cyrus and Millie Gregory Honeycutt and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, LA. Marie worked as a caregiver and nurse's aide for Home Health agencies. She was a member of Urania Pentecostal Church and the Columbia chapter the the Order of Eastern Star, where she was a past Worthy Matron. She loved life and the Lord and showed this daily. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill White; son, Danny Glenn Leckie; sisters: Lucy Spence, Elaine Spence, Mildred Bush, Shirley Franklin, Georgia Tidwell and Evelyn Cole and her brothers: W.R. Honeycutt, D.E. Honeycutt and Wilbur Honeycutt. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Van Edward Leckie and wife, Kathy; three daughters: Pamela Marie Satterfield and husband, Keith, Donna Riley and husband, Tim and Carla Pennington and husband, Jay; two brothers: Johnny Lee Honeycutt and wife, Betsy and Robert Honeycutt; sister, Jimmie Braddock and husband, Benny; grandchildren: Brandi Marie Miley, Justin Thomas Leckie, Cyrus Jackson Leckie, Lyndi Leckie, Danielle Gore, Dana Gore and Michael Gore; eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be friends of the family. Honorary pallbearers will be Andy Honeycutt, John Lee Honeycutt, Benny Braddock and Tim Riley.
