Obituary of Charlotte Underwood

Funeral services for Charlotte Marie Underwood age 57 of Olla will be held 1:00 pm Friday March 6, 2015 from the sanctuary of Zion Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. LaVerl Shell officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Hebron Cemetery near Sikes under the direction of Riser Funeral Home of Olla. Visitation will be on Thursday March 5, 2015 at the church from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Charlotte Marie McNaughton Underwood was born on May 14, 1957 at Urania, Louisiana to the union of her parents, Alton McNaughton and Lessie Marie Cader McNaughton, and she passed from this life on Sunday March 1, 2015 at the Christus St. Francis Cabrini Medical Center in Alexandria following a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her father, a brother: Bobby Ray McNaughton, her aunt: Mildred Possoit, and her best friend: Margaret Waggoner. She was a member of the Zion Hill Baptist Church. Left to cherish her memory: her mother: Marie McNaughton of Olla; two sons: Clifford Shane Underwood and wife Kristi, and Justin Underwood and wife Cassandra, all of Olla; her daughter: Michelle Warren and husband Sam of Urania; two brothers: Kenny McNaughton and wife Virginia of Hebert and Terry McNaughton and wife Barbara also of Hebert; her sister: Barbara Garcia and husband Mario of Olla; and her precious grandchildren who were the light of her life: Brandon Allen, Samantha Warren, Marie Warren, Keirstin Underwood, DaLayne Lipscomb, Aidian Underwood; and one great grand-child: Gage Allen. Pallbearers include: Jeffery Lipscomb, Brandon Allen, Chris Possoit, Bill Martin, Chad Underwood, Scotty Dunnavant, and Josh McNaughton.
