Obituary of Mildred Lois Jones

Private graveside services for Mildred Lois Jones, age 86, of Grayson, were held at Welcome Home Cemetery on Thursday, March 5, 2015. Bro. Bubba Tucker officiated the services. Mildred was born September 11, 1928 and she passed from this life on February 27, 2015 at St. Francis Cabrini Medical Center in Alexandria. She worked for T.A. Roberts as an accountant. She served on the Beautification Committee and kept Highway 126 East cleaned of trash for many years. She was an outside person who loved working in her yard. She was preceded in death by her husband: Marvin Ray Jones and her parents. She is survived by her family and extended family: Ruth Henson and her husband Bill of Benton AR; Betty; Donnie and Anita Sims; James and Melissa Palmer; April and Adam Palmer. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rosefield Baptist Church or Grayson Baptist Church.
