Obituary of Wilma Sikes Wyant

Funeral services for Wilma Sikes Wyant, age 85, of Rosefield, will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Rosefield Baptist Church with Bro. Bubba Tucker and Bro. Patrick Willis officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the church. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Aimwell. Wilma was born November 8, 1929 to Andrew and Martha Dickens Sikes in Harrisonburg and she passed from this life on March 19, 2015. She was a member of Rosefield Baptist Church. She loved to read and spoil her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: Patt Wyant; son: Carl Wyant; four brothers: Isaac Sikes, Charlie Sikes, Bob Sikes, and Gene Sikes; sister: Lydia Hale. She is survived by two sons: Thomas Wyant and his wife Edna of Homer; Clifton Wyant and his wife Angeles of Brookhaven, MS ; two daughters: Phyllis Cavin and her husband Mike of Rosefield; Karen Nugent and her husband Ronnie of Rosefield; brother: Jerry Sikes and his wife Martha of Swartz; two sisters: Martha Jo Rushing and her husband Charles of Homer; Ethel Dees and her husband Ronnie of Homer; thirteen grandchildren; twenty one great-grandchilden; four great-great grandchildren.
