Obituary of Elyssa Reynolds

Funeral services for Elyssa Hope Reynolds, infant, will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, April 23, 2015 from the sanctuary of Bethany Baptist Church with Bro. Billy McClanahan officiating. Interment will follow at Rosefield Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday at Bethany Baptist Church from 5 PM to 9 PM. An angel, Elyssa, was sent from Heaven February 24, 2015 in Monroe, LA and returned on April 20, 2015 in Shreveport, LA. She was met in Heaven by her grandfather, Carl Jeffrey Girod; paternal great-grandmother, Arlene Platt; maternal great-grandparents: Gloria Leahey and Carl Severen Girod. Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Anna Girod; father, Dylan Reynolds; sister, Emilie Reynolds; grandparents: Sheila and Kevin Hutto and Stacy and Angela Reynolds; great-grandparents: Don Mayo, Maxine Girod, Roy and Darlene Reynolds and Jackie Platt; uncles: Josh Reynolds, Jamie Girod and wife, Heather, Coal Hillestad and Laine Hutto; aunts: Charly Darmstaedter and husband, John and Fawn Hutto and cousins: James Tyler Reynolds and Whitley Duff. Pallbearers will be Dylan Reynolds, Stacy Reynolds and Kevin Hutto. Honorary pallbearer will be Josh Reynolds.
