Obituary of Johnny Boss

Johnny Ray Boss, a resident of Richland Parish, passed away on June 7, 2015 at his residence following a brief illness. Johnny was born on September 23, 1949 at Artesia, New Mexico to the union of his parents, Curtis Oliver Boss and Ruth Blanche Wilfong Boss. Johnny was preceded in death by his parents and spent his entire adult life working in the oilfield business. Johnny was an avid fisherman and loved to travel.Johnny was a United States Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Those left to cherish his memory his brothers: Sam Arthur Boss and wife Kay of Odessa, Texas, Truman woods of Columbia, and Joe Van Hemert of Odessa, Texas; his sister: Terry Lynn Woods of Columbia; also his nieces and nephews: Kevin Boss, Lisa Boss, Brad Boss, Joshua Boss and a host of friends both near and far. The Boss Family will announce a memorial service to be held at a later time.
