Obituary of Patricia Shelton

Funeral services for Patricia Cubbit Shelton, age 68 of Clarks, LA will be held at 10 AM Thursday, July 23, 2015 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home with Bro. Henry Rachal, III officiating. Interment will follow at Fellowship Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at Riser Funeral Home from 6 PM to 9 PM. Mrs. Shelton was born on January 2, 1947 in Caldwell Parish to the union of Johnnie David Cubbit and Daisy Mae Richmond Cubbit and passed from this life on Monday, July 20, 2015 in Winnfield, LA. Patricia worked as a homemaker enjoying her hobbies of fishing, sewing and flowers. She was a member of Clarks United Pentecostal Church and loved her church family. She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands: Paul C. Shelton and Johnny Dannehl and sister, Amy Creppel. Those left to cherish her memory are her son J.R. Dannehl and wife, Brandy of Columbia; daughters: Tonya Brown and husband, Timothy of OH and Tammy Couch and husband, Michael of Jena; step-children: Michael Shelton, Mark Shelton and Paula Shelton; brothers: Mickey Lott and wife, Linda of Columbia; Larry Cubbit and wife, Renae of Columbia; Jerry Cubbit and wife, Linda of Kelly, Johnny Bruce Cubbit and wife, Sarah of Columbia, Robert Cubbit and wife, Sandra of Columbia, Mark Cubbit and wife, Theresa of Grayson and Joe Cubbit and wife, Tracy of Grayson; grandchildren: Michael Couch, II, Johnny David Couch, Tripp Dannehl and Shelby Lou Dannehl; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Pallbearers will be Michael Couch, Timothy Brown, Tripp Dannehl, Michael Couch, II, John Cubbit and Mitch Bratton. Honorary pallbearer will be Sidney Mark.
