Obituary of Linda June Hill

Linda June Martin Hill, 68 of Olla passed from this life on Wednesday September 2, 2015 at her residence in Olla following an extended illness. Linda was born on September 21, 1946 in Shreveport, LA to the union of her parents Boss Junior Martin and Jessie May Powell Martin. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her brother-in-law Raymond Maxwell. Linda worked as a housekeeper and secretary, and she was a member of the Straight Roads Full Gospel Church in Olla. Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters: Paige Sklavenitis and husband Phillip of Olla, and Stacy Vedenti and husband Jim of Mureitta, California; three sisters: Rita Maxwell of Olla, Sandy Livingston and husband Tommy of Loveland, Colorado and Debbie Brown and husband Jackie also of Loveland, Colorado; grandchildren: Christi Estis and husband Chad of Olla and Brittaney Cansler and husband Cody of Greenville, Tennessee; and also six great-granddaughters,and a great grandson, a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, and many many friends. Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Friday September 4, 2015 at the Straight Roads Full Gospel Church in Olla with Brother John Norwood officiating.
