Obituary of Kyle Rogers

Funeral services for Kyle Rogers, age 31, of Grayson, will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Outreach Baptist Church in Grayson with Bro. C.R. Martin officiating. Daniel Rogers will deliver the eulogy. Visitation will be Saturday from 5:30 PM until 9:00 PM at the church and Sunday from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow at Old Bethel Baptist Church in Clarks. Kyle was born November 15, 1983 to Burt Rogers and Lisa Taylor Rogers in Columbia and he passed from this life on September 3, 2015. He was a driller in the oilfield. He loved to hunt, fish, and play golf. He was fun loving, outgoing, and lived life to the fullest. He was a great husband and dad that loved his baby girl with all of his heart. He was a great friend and never met a stranger. He is survived by his wife of 7 years: Lillie Wyles Rogers of Grayson; daughter: Kyla Rose Rogers of Grayson; father: Burt Rogers and his wife Terry of Grayson; mother: Lisa Rogers of Grayson; brother: Josh Rogers and his wife Cheryl of Columbia; sister: Melissa Plunkett and her husband Nathan of Hebert; mother and father-in-law: Kevin and Beverly Wyles of Columbia; brother-in-laws: Chris Wyles and his wife Claire of Grayson; Blake Wyles and his wife Niki of Grayson; grandparents: Earl and JoAnn Rogers of Grayson; grandparent-in-laws: Dale and Flo Powell of Columbia; grandmother-in-law: Claudine Head of Columbia; a host nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Stuart Baum, Derek Pauley, Shelby McGuffee, James Messer, William "Bull" Exline, Patrick Barrett, Jason Morris, Brad Meredith, and Matt Richmond. Honorary Pallbearers will be Josh Rogers, Nathan Plunkett, Chris Wyles, Blake Wyles, Cameron Wyles, Jude Wyles, Charlie Plunkett, Tysan Rogers, and Abe Plunkett.
