Obituary of Lillian Gregory

Funeral services for Lillian Dulaney Gregory, age 90 of Columbia, will be held at 2 PM Monday, September 7, 2015 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home, Columbia with Rev. Pete Herndon officiating. Interment will follow at Dulaney Family Cemetery, Sikes. Visitation will be Monday, September 7, 2015 from 10 AM until service time of 2 PM at Riser Funeral Home, Columbia. Mrs. Gregory was born on October 26, 1924 in Winn Parish, LA to the union of Howard James Dulaney and Alice Marie Dunn Dulaney and passed from this life on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Haven Nursing Center, Columbia, LA. Lillian was a character who brought love and joy to her family and friends. She retired as a clerk with a motel and was a member of Bellview Baptist Church. She enjoyed playing bingo. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Truman Gregory; son, Michael Gregory; daughter, Patricia Ann Gregory; and two brothers: Buddy Dulaney and Carl Dulaney. Those left to cherish her memory are two sisters: Bonnie Brown and husband, Otis and Carolyn Herndon and husband, Pete; two granddaughters: Michelle Trichi and Patricia Gregory; four grandchildren; sister-in-law, Clara Dulaney and special nieces: Kathy Hill, Glenda Craft, Ann Caraway, Linda Mathews, Bonnie Conerly and Jessica Stapleton. Pallbearers will be Charles Caraway, Lakota "Little Man" Stapleton, Cordel Craft, Acey Craft, Lee Craft and Shane Mathews. Honorary pallbearers will be Dustin Mathews, Cody Hill, Jr., Dixon Dulaney, Donald Dulaney, Randall Dulaney and Susan Hearold. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made at St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
