Obituary of William Moody

Funeral services for William Keith Moody age 45 of Olla will be held 10AM Wed. Feb.25 from the Pine Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. David McGuffee and Rev. Johnny Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in the Olla Cemetery under direction of Riser Funeral Home of Olla. Visitation for Tuesday will be from 5PM until 8PM at the Pine Hill Baptist Church at Urania. William Keith Moody was born on August 13, 1963 at Winnfield, La. and passed from this life on Feb. 21, 2009 after a long fought but courageous battle with cancer. Keith was an employee with Baker Hughes Inteq-Midland, Texas, an active member of the Pine Hill Baptist Church, and a loving husband and the best daddy in the world to his beloved daughter. He was preceded in death by his mother Aliece Elias Moody. Keith loved boating and travel and never met a stranger. He will be missed by all who knew him. Survivors who remain include his loving wife: Robin Martin Moody of Olla. Daughter: Millie Moody, Step son: Mason Dupree of Luling, La. Father and step mother: William and Ruby Moody of Olla, La. Sister: Kim Hitt of Monroe. Step Sister: Stacey Duke and husband Timmy of Olla,La. Two nephews: Connor Hitt and Tyler Hitt both of Monroe. He was much loved loved by many other extended family, friends, nieces and nephews. Pallbearers include: Dr. Robert"Bobby" Connell, Bart McGuffee, Randy Nugent, Terry Keene, Jon Nethery, Brian Deveaux, Jeff Farrar, Tim Wesson, and Mark Schmidht. Honorary pallbearers include: Brad Denson, Todd Denson, Steve Tam, Connor Hitt, and Tyler Hitt.
