Obituary of Stephen Brent Dearmon

Funeral services for Stephen Brent Dearmon, age 46, of Jena, will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 4, 2015 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Olla with Rev. David McGuffee officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Beech Creek Cemetery in Winn Parish. Brent was born October 21, 1968 to the union of Claude and Patricia Howard Dearmon in Columbia and he passed from this life on September 30, 2015 in Natchez, MS. He was a registered Pharmacist during his working life. He was an avid LSU fan and a collector of anything LSU and Coca Cola. He loved his two dogs Lacey and Charlie. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Ed and Anna Dearmon; grandfather: Doc C. Howard. He is survived by his parents: Claude and Patricia Howard Dearmon of Urania; sister: Michele Thompson and her husband Rickie of Jena; two nephews: Landon Thompson and his wife Mandy; Tandy Thompson and his wife Danielle and their children Lila and Truett of Pineville; grandmother: Bertha Howard of Jena; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Pallbearers will be the Deacons of Pine Hill Baptist Church of Olla.
