Obituary of Millie Warner

Funeral services for Millie K. Warner, 93 of Holum, LA will be held 11:00 am Saturday October 24, 2015 from the Columbia chapel of Riser Funeral Home with Rev. Shane Duke officiating. Interment will follow in the Welcome Home Cemetery at Grayson. Visitation will be on Friday October 23, 2015 at the Riser Funeral Home located at 7131 U S Highway 165, Columbia; from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Millie Kenworthy Warner was born on January 3, 1922 at Clarks, LA to the union of her parents John Kenworthy and Cora Graue Kenworthy and she passed from this life on October 21, 2015 at the Citizens Medical Center in Columbia. She was a member of the Holum Baptist Church and a life long resident of Caldwell Parish. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her son Alva Everett Warner, her grandchildren: Russell Warner and Keith Warner, her daughter-in-law: Mary Frances Warner, and her sons-in-law: Gordon Taylor and Charles Burroughs. Left to cherish her memory her beloved husband of almost seventy six years, Alva Hilburn Warner of Holum, her children: Billy Ray Warner and Bennie Wayne Warner both of Grayson; Wanda Taylor and Cathy Burroughs both of Carthage, Texas; her grandchildren: Misty Brien (Kevin), Brandy Warden (Brad), Dewayne Warner, Kit Warner (Kelly), Kolter Warner, and Kristi Zalman; her great-grandchildren: William Brien, Tanner Warden, William Warner, Kobe Warner, Konner Warner, Joey Zalman , MiKayla Zalman and Alex Warner. Pallbearers include Ray Braddock, Kit Warner, Dewayne Warner, Brad Warden, Eddie Peavy, and Donnie Williams. In lieu of flowers any planned memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
