Obituary of James Stewart Jr.

Funeral services for James W. Stewart, Jr. age 47 of Columbia will be held at 10 AM Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia, LA with Stacey Pitman officiating. Interment will follow at Palestine Cemetery in Vixen, LA. Visitation will be from 5PM until 8PM Friday, December 4, 2015 at the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia. James Wetzel Stewart, Jr. was born on January 25, 1968 at Columbia and passed from this life on November 20, 2015 at his residence in Kuwait where he worked for Kuwait Drilling Company. He was preceded in death by his mother; Wanda Gail Brister Stewart. Survivors include: his father and step-mother, James and Sherry Stewart of Columbia; his son, Zachary Stewart of Virginia Beach, Virginia; his sister, Dawn Stewart Martin of Houston, Texas; a niece, Alexis Martin and a nephew, Ryan Martin. Serving as pallbearers will be Zachary Stewart, Casey Stewart, Petey Stewart, Jarred Stewart, Mark Escalon, Danny Emmons, and J. R. Leteff. Honorary pallbearers include Nathan Noland, Thomas Miller, Brad Stewart and James David Bratton.
