Obituary of Laverne Ingram
Mrs. Ingram was born on December 28, 1923 to the union of Fred and Mattie Tolbert and on March 26, 2009, at "noon day fair" , God sent his angels to Hardtner Medical Center of Urania to carry his child, Laverne "Honey" Ingram through Heaven's gate. She was 85. There to welcome her was her beloved husband, Ishmael "Cornmeal" Ingram. Others to welcome her home were her mother, Mattie Tolbert Arnold, father, Fred Tolbert, brother, Raymond "Buddy" Tolbert, sister, Laura Tolbert McGowen, step-father, Dennis Arnold. She is finally "Home Free". A memorial service to celebrate and honor her life will be held at 2:00 pm ,Sunday, March 29, 2009, in the First Baptist Church of Olla with Rev. Johnnie Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in the Olla Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm Sunday until time of services in the Church.
