Obituary of Kristi Cockerham

Services for Kristi Suzanne Cockerham, age 50 of Olla, will be 2 PM Monday, March 30, 2009 at Springhill Baptist Church in Kelly with Bro. Bruce Weatherford, Bro. Oni Hay and Bro. Randy Ray officiating. Interment will follow at Roberts Cemetery in Kelly. Visitation will be 5 PM to 9 PM on Sunday evening at Springhill Baptist Church. Ms. Cockerham was born in Columbia on November 21, 1958 to the union of Troy Hill and Tommie Y. Snody Cockerham and passed from this life on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at her residence. Kristi was a member of Standard Baptist Church in Olla and was a caregiver and waitress through her life. She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her mother; Tommie Snody Cockerham of Kelly, daughter; Brandi Joiner of Jena, brother; Mark Leland Cockerham of Olla, two grandchildren; Zachary Joiner and Cassidy Joiner, two nephews; Joshua Cockerham and Sam Cockerham, niece; Elizabeth Cockerham and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Pallbearers will be John Joiner, Vince Stapleton, Glenn Black, Calvin Wooten, Mickey Cockerham and Victor Deason. Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Cockerham and Sam Cockerham.
