Obituary of Raymond Lord

A memorial service for Mr. Raymond O. Lord age 84 of Grayson will be held at 2PM Friday April 3, 2009 from the Columbia chapel of Riser Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Pearson officiating. Visitation will begin at 1PM at the funeral home. Raymond Otto Lord was born on May 4, 1924 at Archibald, LA. and died Monday March 31, 2009 at his residence following a brief illness. Mr. Lord was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his parents Harvey Andrew Lord and Alma Lee (Cheek) Lord, and by his daughter Carol Ann Perez and his brother Charles Lindy Lord. Survivors include : Two daughters: Pam Lawler of Pasa Robles, CA. and Joy Lira of San Jose, CA. Brother: Dennis Michael Lord of Mountain View, AR. Two sisters: Lovie Gebbia and husband Charles of Rayville and Martha Wright of Grayson.
