Obituary of Cecil Sisney

Funeral services for Mr. Cecil A. Sidney age 81 of Columbia will be held 2PM Saturday April 4, 2009 from the Selma Baptist Church at Georgetown with the Rev.Willie Beaubeouf officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery west of Columbia. Visitation will be from 4:30 to 9:00PM on Friday at the church and continue on Saturday until time of service at the church. Cecil Adelbert Sisney was born on Jan. 5, 1928 at Puxico,MO to the union of John Quincy Adams Sisney and Minnie Maude Wilson Sisney. He passed from this life on April 1, 2009 at the Citizens Medical Center in Columbia. Cecil was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, 5 brothers, and a step-son David Keene. Survivors include: His wife: Mrs. Rachel Herz Sisney of Columbia. His daughter: Donna Delgado and husband John of Cape Girardeau, MO. Son: Michael Sisney of Bertrand, MO. Step daughter: Ruby McBroom and husband William of Monroe. Brother: Estelle Morgan of Portland, Oregon. Six grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, ten great- grandchildren and eight step great- grandchildren.
