Obituary of Daisy Belle Gaspard

Funeral services for Daisy Davis Gaspard, 84 of Olla will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, December 5, 2015 from the Olla chapel of Riser Funeral Home with Rev. Russell Rhodes and Rev. Willie Beaubouef officiating. Interment will follow in the Olla Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday December 4, 2015 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Daisy Davis Gaspard was born on November 25, 1931 at Waverly, Louisiana to the union of her parents Maud George Davis and Dovie Stevens Davis. She passed from this life on Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at the Christus St. Francis Cabrini Medical Center in Alexandria following an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James M. Gaspard and her granddaughter, Bristen Glynn Gaspard. Left to cherish a lifetime of memories are her children: Melanie Andrews and husband, Richard of Olla; Dennis James Gaspard of Olla, and Lamar Gaspard and wife, Songia of Calhoun; five grandchildren: Ricky Andrews and wife, Natalie, Daylan Andrews and wife, Mahaley, Kevin Andrews and wife, Brittany, Derry Gaspard and Victoria Rhea Gaspard; three great-grandchildren: Easton and Carson Andrews and Annabelle Andrews. Pallbearers include Ricky Andrews, Daylan Andrews, Kevin Andrews, Derry Gaspard, Jimmy Davis and David Kees. Honorary pallbearers include: Joe Davis and Laverne Headley.
