Obituary of Dorothy McGuire Franklin

Dorothy McGuire Franklin went to be with Jesus on December 25, 2015. She was born July 29, 1946 to Eleanor "Janie" McGuire and Rev. James "Ed" McGuire. She fought the good fight and finished her course, having kept the faith. She was preceded in death by her grandson: Andrew Maziasz; her brother: Benny McGuire; her parents. She is survived by her husband of 52 years: Wayne Franklin; her children: Karen Husser and her husband Al, David Franklin, Brenda Hudgens and her husband Joe, Vickie Crain and her husband John; her sisters: Betty Williams, Mary McClanahan, and Nancy Douglas; her grandchildren: Matthew Maziasz, Victoria Roof, Dylan Kulcke, and Caleb Kulcke. Her great-grandson: Cameron Husser. Pallbearers will be Al Husser, Brian Husser, Dylan Kulcke, Caleb Kulcke, Raymond Franklin II, and Steve Williams. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, December 29, 2015 from the sanctuary of the Apostolic Truth Tabernacle Church in Grayson with Rev. Sherman Jones and Rev. Johnny Barnhill officiating. Interment will follow at Welcome home Cemetery in Grayson. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the church.
