Obituary of Betty Kenworthy

Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Elaine Jordan Kenworthy will be held 1:00 pm Thursday December 31, 2015 from the sanctuary of Old Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Steven Laughlin officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Bethel Cemetery at Clarks. Visitation will be on Wednesday December 30, 2015 at the church from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Betty Elaine Jordan Kenworthy was born on June 29, 1938 at Clarks, LA to the union of her parents Earnest C. Jordan and Ozie Mae Lucas Jordan, and she passed from this life on December 28, 2015 at the Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria following a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, by her husband: Billy Wayne Kenworthy; by her son: Roy Dale Kenworthy ; two brothers: Arvil Jordan and Melvin Jordan and a sister: Louise Jordan. Left to cherish a lifetime of memories: her son: Charles Wayne Kenworthy and wife Debbie of Hebert, daughter: Betty Ann Foy and husband John of Grayson, one remaining brother: Lloyd Jordan and wife Mary of Converse; nine grandchildren: Michael, Nick, Jessica, Amber, Susie, Sloan, Royce, Morgan and Zak; and nine great grandchildren: Ashley, Mikey, Allie, Andrew, Jackson, Layton, McKenna, Kayla and Aubree.
