Obituary of Margaret Mills Lively

Funeral services for Margaret Mills Lively, age 74, of Columbia, will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 9, 2016 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Bro. Shane Duke and Bro. C.R. Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson. Visitation will be Friday at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Margaret was born December 31, 1941 to the union of Reverend Kirby D. and Louise Bennett Mills in Fortuna, CA and she passed from this life on January 6, 2016. She was a member of Old Bethel Baptist Church in Clarks. She loved to cook and read. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson-in-law: Jeremy Hair; brother-in-law: Leland Hughes. She is survived by her husband of 59 years: Pete Lively of Columbia; three sons: Danny Lively and his wife Carla of Crowville; Tommy Lively and his wife Linda of Eros; Scott Lively and his wife Cheryl; of Columbia; daughter: Phyllis Ballard and her husband Roger of Columbia; two sisters: Dianne Hughes and Wanda Stowe; ten grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons: Ben Lively, T.J. Lively, Brandon Lively, Ryan Ballard, Colt Lively, and Blake Wheeler.
