Obituary of Cassie Jo Crain Lloyd
Funeral services for Cassie Jo Crain Lloyd, age 76 of Grayson, will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Christian Sharing Christ Baptist Church in Clarks with Bro. Larry Adkins officiating. Interment will follow at Old Union Cemetery west of Grayson. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the church.
Cassie was born February 15, 1939 to the union of Lavelle and Maisie Jenkins Crain in Kelly and she passed from this life on January 26, 2016 at Life Care Specialty Hospital in Ruston.
She was a member of Christian Sharing Christ Baptist Church in Clarks. She was a very loving and caring mother, grandmother, and mother-in-law. She never met a stranger and she always sent Birthday and Christmas cards to everyone. She was preceded in death by her husband: Leland Lloyd; her parents; brother: David Crain; brother-in-law: Gene Lloyd; sister-in-law: Lucille Brown.
She is survived by her son: Jeff Lloyd and his wife Dianne of Grayson; two daughters: Angel Poole and her husband Michael of Columbia; Lisa Lloyd of Grayson; two brothers: Landry Crain and his wife Ethel of Grayson; Dale Crain and his wife Jean of Grayson; two sisters: Mary Taylor and her husband Bill of Clarks; Chyrl Adkins and her husband Bro. Larry of Grayson; three grandchildren: Carla McKiddy and her husband Michael; Brittany Holladay and her husband J.R.; Alayna Barnett; five great-grandchildren: Blade Baker, Alyssa Holladay, Brycen "Doc" Holladay, Makayla McKiddy, and Courtney McKiddy; sister-in-law: Mary Ann Dawson; chosen son: Justin Primm
Pallbearers will be: Mark Crain, Bo Russell, Larry Wayne Adkins, William Adkins, Brad Crain, Wesley Crain, Kyle Crain, Tony Dawson, Steven Dawson, Dylan Donaldson, Chad Guerrero, Jacob West, Kendall Ward, and Justin Primm.
Honorary Pallbearers will be nieces and Reggy McDaniel and Randy Barnette.
