Obituary of Margie Fore

Funeral services for Margie Steen Fore, age 81 of Grayson, LA will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, February 24, 2016 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home, Columbia, LA with Bro. Brent McClure officiating. Interment will follow at Welcome Home Cemetery, Grayson, LA. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Riser Funeral Home from 5 PM to 8 PM. Mrs. Fore was born on April 29, 1934 in Kelly, LA to the union of her parents, William Carey Steen and Zona Thomas Steen and passed from this life on Sunday, February 21, 2016 at StoneyBrook Alzheimer's Care Assisted Living in West Monroe, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Marvin Steen. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 59 years, Dan Fore, Jr., of Grayson, LA; three daughters: Karen Grubb of Grayson, LA, Lynn Grant of Lewisville, TX and Marla Kay Murphy and husband, Mark of Flower Mound, TX; sister, Viola Walters and husband, J.R. of Grayson, LA; grandson, Braden Grubb and granddaughter, Trysten Murphy. Pallbearers will be Braden Grubb, Mark Murphy, Horace Lafferty, Lyn Meredith, Burl Braddock and Kit Brown. Any planned memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.
