Obituary of Bettye McDonald

Services for Mrs. Bettye Jo Netherey McDonald, 79, of Diamondhead, MS. Formerly of Olla, will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday April 28, 2009, in the chapel of Riser Funeral Home of Olla with Bro. Johnnie Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Old Bethel Cemetery of Clarks. Visitation will be from 5pm to 9pm Monday, April 27, 2009, and from 8am until time of services in the chapel on Tuesday. Mrs. McDonald was born on May 19, 1929 to the union of Wilbur and Edith Brandin Netherey and passed from this life on Tuesday, April 21, 2009, in Kiln, MS. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband Jack McDonald of Diamondhead, MS.; sons: Jack Barnett McDonald, Jr. of and wife Madeline of Monroe; Chris McDonald of Doha, Qatar; Daughter-in-law Lisa McDonald of New Orleans; sister, Ann Talley and husband Billy of Olla; grandchildren: Shane McDonald, David McDonald, Daniel McDonald, and Laura McDonald. She is preceded in death by her parents; Wilbur and Edith Netherey; son, Johnny DuBois McDonald; sister, Ray Ziegler; and brother, Glen Netherey.
