Obituary of Lessie Marie McNaughton

Funeral services for Lessie Marie McNaughton were held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at Riser Funeral Home in Olla with Bro. Jesse Henderson officiating. Interment followed at Hebron Cemetery west of Grayson. Lessie was born February 25, 1937 to the union of Bert and Lessie Belle Cader in Urania and she passed from this life on March 9, 2016 at her residence in Olla. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Olla. She was huge Atlanta Braves and Chicago Cubs fan. She was preceded in death by her husband: Alton McNaughton; son: Bobby Ray McNaughton; daughter: Charlotte Underwood. She is survived by two sons: Kenneth McNaughton and his wife Virginia of Hebert; Terry McNaughton and his wife Barbara of Hebert; daughter: Barbara Garcia and her husband Mario of Olla; two sisters: Ruby Jackson of Pineville and Mary Klanecky of California; 22 grandchildren: A host of great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Daniel Lipscomb, Jeffrey Lipscomb, David Maudsley, Curtis McNaughton, James McNaughton, and Marty Billingsley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Stevie Underwood and Johnny Possoit.
