I not only had the honor of graduating with my friend, I had the honor of working with him in New Orleans. He was always very special to me. I mourn his passing but I celebrate his life and I pray for his family in this time of grief. He will always be remembered and I look forward to seeing him again in a better place. God bless each and every one of his family at this time and I pray that the Lord puts His hand of peace upon you.

John was a good friend and I still remember the fun times we experienced in Henderson. It was great to visit with him at our 50th class reunion. I am sorry for the family's loss and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Deborah, my thoughts and prayers are with you and all the family at this sad time. John was my high school love, I sat behind him in typing class and I was smitten! He was such a gentle soul then, so quiet. I would have liked to have known him in later years. I was so happy to reconnect with him and to meet you at the Houston VA Hospital. I wouldn't take a million $$ for that brief time. Know that he has always been thought of by me all these years with great respect and affection!
