Obituary of Lace Rena Patterson

Funeral services for Lace Rena Patterson, age 48, of Grayson, will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, April 1, 2016 at Fellowship Baptist Church west of Columbia, with Bro. Chris Bennett officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 PM until service time at the church. Lace was born January 14, 1968 to David Patterson and Carolyn Barfield Parker in Monroe and she passed from this life on March 30, 2016 at her residence in Grayson. She loved to camp and fish. She loved being outdoors. She also loved cooking and grilling. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Jessie and Alvin Bart Barfield; paternal grandparents: Fred and Ruby Patterson. She is survived by her son: Dalton Sikes; daughter: Carolanne Hitt; parents: David Patterson and step-mother: Terry; mother: Carolyn Parker; sister: Nicole McFall; step-brother: David Sanderson; step-sister: Tiffany Murphy; very special person: Rusty Hitt. Pallbearers will be Benjy Lee, Jeremy Short, Bradley Stevens, Colt Hall, Wayne Williams, and Richie Minchew. Honorary Pallbearers will be Marvin Stevens and Terry Cox.
