John and Judson, I know this will be an incredibly hard time for you both. Even though we are aware these days will come, we can never be prepared for them. Some people say, "She's in a better place now." Some might say, "She's in heaven, and with her family and she will not heart anymore." Those are true, but there is always that missing piece in the lives of those of us left behind. Those who love, those who remember and that is part of life. I've had some people claim that grief is over in a matter of months, or the grieving process typically takes a year. However, I believe it is safe to say when you love someone, you will miss them, and there is no specified length of time. It begins one day, it goes into the next day, and it carries on, one day at a time. So, take your days as they come, and no you have many friends and extended family members and we all love you both and are praying for your hearts to hold true.
