It was sad to learn of the loss of a dear childhood friend and one-time Bellevue neighbor. "Bo" was a great friend. I remember how we rode as two of nine students in the shell of the same pickup truck to Columbia High School. He and I lived c.2 miles apart on the same often ankle-deep dusty dirt road from one another. Bo could fashion small miniature wood submarines that were propeller-driven and we watched them with avid interest make their subterranean voyage in a #3 galvanized wash tub. One of the kindest, soft-spoken individuals I was privileged to have known. My condolences to his wife, Pat Spikes. She is in my prayers. Love you, Pat.
