Aunt Esther was so good and great. I enjoyed so much the time I spent (a lot) at their house with her and Uncle Frank, and playing with their kids, Bobby, Brenda, Charles and Jerry. I loved them and Aunt Esther and Uncle Frank loved me, consistently all the time. They always welcomed me as one of their own. There is no telling the number of times I ate Aunt Esther's spaghetti (it was really good) at her table. Believe me, hanging out in her kitchen and at her table with her, was really good and uplifting. You could never be around her without feeling better afterwards for it.
I remember the joy of sitting in church with her and uncle frank, and listening to their kids sing beautiful gospel songs to my mom's piano playing. They were good, and a blessing.
It's interesting that Aunt Esther had come on my mind strongly recently and I had been asking mom about her. And then my wife and I mentioned to mom we hoped to visit her also next time we planned to come over in October to see mom. Its then I heard she was in the hospital. I regret I waited too late to do that.
As I stayed up with what was happening from my mom, she shared with me how all Aunt Esther's kids were around her bedside and singing and worshiping to God as Aunt Esther went back to God. I thought, how fitting, and that's exactly how she should have been sent, as a royal daughter of God. "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints."
Personally, I have absolutely no doubt that Aunt Esther and Uncle Frank had the best blessings in life. Also that now, Aunt Esther has went on to join uncle frank and Jesus. She was a saint. She also is not dead to us, but only asleep resting in Jesus until she rises first to Him in the rapturous moment of the redemption of Christ's Church. Then, all of us that are Biblically ready, will worship together again with her as we celebrate Jesus at the great supper with Him in heaven.
I look forward to seeing her there.

Esther (Granny) was always so sweet to me. Every time I saw her she had a smile on her face. As Christians, our one comfort is that we will see each other again one day. Until then, our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
