Obituary of Noel Guerrero

Funeral services for Noel Guerrero age 64 of Riverton will be held 11:00 AM Friday December 7, 2018 from the sanctuary of Urania Pentecostal Church with Rev. Clay Hutto officiating. Interment will follow in the Welcome Home Cemetery at Grayson. Services are under direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia. Visitation will be on Thursday December 6, 2018 at the funeral home in Columbia from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Noel Guerrero was born on February 28, 1954 in Columbia to the union of his parents Hijinio Guererro and Lupe Garcia Guerrero and he passed from this life suddenly on Tuesday December 4,2018 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. Noel was raised in Caldwell Parish where he followed in the footsteps of his dad who was a farmer and Noel excelled in farming as well. He was an active member of the Urania Pentecostal Church in Urania and was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, mother-in-law: Grace Acreman and two brothers: Leo Guerrero and Johnny Guerrero, and his aunt Alma Guerrero. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Noel leaves behind his beloved wife of forty five years  Linda P. Guerrero of Columbia; three daughters: Shana Beckley and husband Dewayne of Copenhagen, Danyell Hatten and husband Bryant of Riverton and Midonna Nicole Jarrett and husband Jeremiah of Grayson; his brothers and sisters: Pablo Guerrero and wife Donna of Columbia, Danny Guerrero and wife Janice of Columbia, Olga McClanahan and husband Roger, Sr. of Bosco, Rosemary Guerrero of Roundrock, TX, Gloria Guerrero and Maria Guerrero both of Bosco and Sara Guerrero Duncan and husband Woody of West Monroe; nine grandchildren: Hunter Beckley, Hollin Beckley, Hogan Beckley and wife Brooke, Hannah Claire Beckley, Elizabeth Hatten and Abram Hatten; Rhett Jarrett, Rose Jarrett and Lillie Belle Jarrett; great-granchildren: Carson Beckley, Della Beckley, and  Parker Noel Beckley will be arriving any day; and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dewayne Beckley, Jeremiah Jarrett, Bryant Hatten, Hunter Beckley, Hogan Beckley and David Guerrero. Honorary pallbearers include Pablo Guerrero and Danny Guerrero.

In lieu of flowers any planned memorials should be made to the Urania Pentecostal Church, Urania, Louisiana.
