Obituary of Rose Marie West

Funeral services for Rose Marie West age 90 of Monroe will be held 1:00 PM Thursday February 28, 2019 from the Columbia chapel of Riser Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM on Thursday until time of service at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Old Union Cemetery west of Grayson.

Rose Marie West was born on September 1, 1928 at Columbia to the union of her parents Samuel West and Lennie Gertrude May West and she passed from this life on February 25, 2019 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe.

Rose was a loving daughter to her parents and a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Graceminster Presbyterian Church in Monroe. She was hardworking and retired as an executive secretary with Exchange Oil and Gas. She lived in New Orleans most of her adult life.

Left to cherish a lifetime of memories are her nieces and nephews, Bill Rainer and wife Rebecca of Vicksburg, MS and Robert Rainer & Sue of Monroe, Janet Rainer of Monroe, Rayne Coleman of Monroe, Jason Rainer and Phuong of Tampa, FL, Kristi Yanchis and husband Rob of Panama City, FL; Scott Rainer and husband Casey of Fayetteville, AR, and Sam Rainer and wife Sally of Calhoun.

Pallbearers will be Jason Rainer, Scott Rainer, Sam Rainer, Robert Rainer and Bill Rainer.
