I just came upon this obituary, and it broke my heart. I met James Willie in the early 80's, and immediately knew he was definitely one of a kind! We all used to gather at his house, have a huge fishfry and then hit the 3-wheelers for a midnight ride in some mud in Ward 5. He was a great person....the kind you never forget. My heart hurts today knowing he's gone. The thunder just rattled our windows here, and it seems appropriate because the world seems a little darker without James Willie in it. RIP ole friend. You'll never be forgotten....thanks for all the good memories .
