To the family, my heartfelt condolences for your loss. Please find comfort in the knowledge that soon God will wipe out every tear from our eyes, and “death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”(Rev. 21:3,4) May this promise give you comfort now and a real hope for the future. My deepest sympathies.

Jerry was a great caring man. We work together at Georgetown Town Hall and he took Georgetown's citizens needs to heart. Enjoyed working with him and knowing him as a dear friend. It's hard to let go, but he is in a better place with God. My prayers goes out to the family. He will be missed by all. God bless you Jerry.

I remember, back in the 60s, when Jerry drove down the road to our house for the first time, in his 64 1/2 Ford Mustang convertible to see our sister, Peggy. There were so many kids, he couldn't seem to get alone with her, so he reached in his pocket and threw change down the road so that my twin and I would run after it and give him at least a few seconds to talk to her. As many times as he pulled that stunt, we could have been rich! He quickly made a friend of my dad by bringing big buckets of Neopolitan ice cream whenever he came. He was determined to marry my sister!
Jerry, I know you're with Jesus now, and not reading this, but it's good for me to write it: you were a wonderful brother-in-law, more like a brother. When I first met you, you talked funny, but you grew out of that. You were my co-partner in our favorite past-time of admiring Brett Favre. I'll miss you calling me every time he did something amazing to ask me if I saw it. (You did that well after midnight, sometimes, and woke me up, but still.... I completely understood.) You were funny, you grilled the best steaks I've ever eaten, you loved my cinnamon rolls but best of all.... you were good to my sister, Peggy. We all loved you and we'll miss you, but we do know we'll see you again.
