Dwana Gail was a big part of my childhood memories. We habitually got into trouble together at the old Olla Church of God and always ended up laughing when we weren't supposed to and getting reprimanded. We must have run up and down 165 a million times "making loops" from Urania to Olla, back and forth, back and forth. I think she just liked driving... and the Burger Barn.
She was so excited when she fell for Charlie Miley that she had to drive me over to his house just to show him to me, ha. They made a cute couple and it was a beautiful wedding. Some friends stay your friends even when time and distance get in the way. Dwana was that kind of friend. She and "the Jones girls" were family. David, Ikky, Delilah... I am so sorry for what you're feeling, I just can't tell you. We accept that we will lose our parents but losing siblings has a different sort of sting. I'm praying for you all and for Charlie.
And Charlie... that girl loved you from day one, head over heels. I bet I knew that before you did.
