Obituary of Dwanna Gail Jones Miley

Graveside funeral services for Dwanna Gail Miley age 66 of Tullos will be held 2:00 PM Friday July 24, 2020 at the Urania Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Rowland officiating. Services are under direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Olla and Columbia. Family and friends may gather at the cemetery beginning at 1:45 PM. Dwanna Gail Miley was born on August 4, 1953 at Olla, LA to the union of her parents, Walter Lee “Casey” Jones and Eunice Elizabeth Stephens Jones and she passed from this life on Tuesday July 21, 2020 at the Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her sister, Rev. Patricia Jones. Dwanna was an active member of the Pleasant Grove Church of God at Grayson until her health began to decline in the past few years. She was a loving wife, sister, aunt and friend to so many. Dwanna was known for her giving spirit of kindness as she was always willing to help anyone in need. Left to cherish her life and sweet memories are her husband Charles Ray Miley of Tullos, her brother: Rev. David Jones (Dian) of Hollendale, Mississippi; two sisters: Elizabeth Spruell of Olla and Delilah Bradford (Ben) of Olla; and a host of nieces and nephews and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Jones, Allan Shelton, William Stain, Chris Bruce, Coby Bruce, and Jason Poole.
