To Debbie and family, I'm so sorry to see about the passing of your beautiful mom.(I was looking for the obituary of a friend's son, and sadly, I saw several that I didn't know had passed) I've never forgotten your mom's kindness and grace. I always thought she was so beautiful! My favorite Saturday nights as a child were when our dads all played music at yalls home. Good ole days, for sure. I feel blessed to have known your family growing up. I hope you're all doing well and happy. May blessings be with you all.

I am so sorry to find out Mrs Peggy passed away. My husband and I worked at Pearl and Sid's for them. We loved them both. My dad was C. T. Mitchell Jr. He hauled wood for Mr. Billy and we would come visit , listen to you play music and play with you kids. I have good memories at your house. You had great parents to be proud of. They will hold a special place in my heart.

So sorry to hear of Mrs. Peggy's passing. Donna I always enjoyed seeing your mom when I would go visit with my at The Haven before my mom passed away. One Sunday you were there visiting your mom when we were there visiting my mom and our granddaughter was with us and she had such a good time trying to visit with ya'll ( as much as a 1 yr. old could) but it was good talking with ya'll that day. Dearest Donna, Carl, Joey, Matt & Debbie,
I just learned of Mrs. Peggy's passing, and I wanted to reach out to all of you and express my deepest condolences. Mr. Billy Ray and Mrs. Peggy were two of the most kindest, sincerest, generous people I have ever known, and my heart truly aches. They were true community builders and helped so many, myself included! For this, I will always be eternally grateful. I'll never forget Mrs. Peggy coming in every afternoon blowing and a going -- all in a flurry -- with those blonde curls just a waving, and Mr. Billy Ray right behind her ... just a whistling. Dearest Donna, Carl, Joey, Matt & Debbie, I am so saddened to hear of Mrs. Peggy's passing. Please, know how much from the bottom of my heart I love both Mr. Billy Ray and Mrs. Peggy. If it weren't for their kindness and generosity, I could have never gone to university. They made that possible. They were two of the most loving people I have ever known.
